Asta is a heritage, a modern passion for traditional Italian recipes.
After a memorable journey in Italy, Sheldon came back to his home country with an idea: offering South Africans an authentic Italian adventure as he experienced it.
In the heart of Stellenbosch, was the already established Botello family and their restaurant Asta La Pasta. Close to retiring, they entrusted our young Chef to pursue their legacy.
So was born Asta Italian Restaurant in 2019.
Since then, we have worked with the freshest ingredients available to make our well-known thin-crust pizzas and generous portions of pasta.
From our bruschettas to our tiramisus, join our passionate team on a tasty trip to Italy, with a South African twist.
